Congratulations to our SA Speed Skaters!

Speed Skating SA would like to congratulate skaters Rowan, Rhiannon and Peter who recently competed for Australia at the World Skate Oceania Inline Speed Championships in Timaru New Zealand. They walked away with a combined Four Gold, Four Silver and Three Bronze medals.

Inline Hockey Affiliation Update

World Skate Games postponed until 2022 The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting the World Skate events throughout the world and yesterday the Executive Board decided to postpone the inline freestyle, artistic, inline speed skating and inline hockey world championships that were to be held in 2020.

Return to Skate Roadmap

SkateSA has today released Return to Skate Guidelines to support state member organisations (Clubs/Branches) in bringing a safe return to community rollerskating in all it's forms. In line with the AIS Framework for Rebooting Sport, the guidelines provide a minimum baseline of standards for ‘how’ reintroduction of skating activity will occur in a cautious and methodical manner. 

ILHA - Inline Hockey Officials Pathway, Structure and Course Material

ILHA introduce you to the new inline officials' structure, pathway and course. This structure has been designed to give pathways for experienced referees, as well as training new officials to a competency standard, rather than simply how many hours they have tallied up. Also, ILHA have created a facebook page "Australian Inline Zebras", to provide a forum for referees to exchange experiences and information.
